Business Development Manager - Telecoms

The BD Manager is responsible for sales lead generation and customer engagement of the Company across UK. The role contributes to the strategic direction and remains aware of market developments for the company into an existing customer.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager's responsibilities include:

* Seeking out and forming working relationships with key decision makers in the existing customer.

* Having direct connects with decision makers to facilitate immediate revenues for the company

* Managing all leads and converting them into sales orders

* Preparation of business case approvals from company management with support from technical and sales team

* Leading designated customer accounts for sales generation

* Maximising company profits for direct accounts handled

* Supporting the development of sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative within existing customer account

Operational Experience

* Established relationships with key decision makers in the existing customer Operations and Procurement departments

* Knowledge and experience of the telecommunications market

* Strong marketing / sales skills

Academic & Technical Background

* 8 years' hands on experience in working with the existing customer account

* Appropriate degree or qualification in Engineering

* Demonstrable success in similar roles
