Smart Recruitment are seeking an experienced accounts assistant / bookkeeper to work for a healthcare firm that have been trading for 15 years in Bridport. They have a small and experienced team of office personnel (6) who support their business. It is a friendly team, who are committed to providing an exceptional service.

You will need to have the following knowledge / experience / skills:

Working knowledge of Xero accounts package
Running payroll (just the preparation of it to be sent off to a bureau)
General accounting experience including invoicing, making payments, banking cheques, completing reconciliations and support for year-end prep
The work will be varied, interesting and often be carried out autonomously, so we would like to find someone with bags of self-motivation and the ability to concentrate on delivering a great accounts admin service.

The role will be 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday - we are looking to appoint someone at short notice to allow for a full training period.
