Here at Hope House we're looking for a confident, motivated and well organised individual to join us as our Assistant Shop Manager, toassist in running our charity shop in Denbigh. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis, working 30 hours per week over 4 days, on a rota that includes weekends. In return we are offering a competitive salary of £13,603 to £14,173 per annum.
Hope House is a bright, homely, active, and supportive place situated in Morda, Oswestry. We're a charity that cares for children with serious conditions, who aren't expected to live longer than early adulthood. We help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and be as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as they can. We support their parents and families too, who often find it hard to cope. All our services are free, but to carry on funding them we need to raise over £6 million every year - almost all of it through the local community.
Responsibilities of our Assistant Shop Manager:
- Working to sales targets
- Assembling sales floor displays
- Preparing donated goods for sale
What are we looking for in our Assistant Shop Manager?
- Retail experience preferable
- Computer literacy is essential to manage the EPOS tilling system
- Previous management or supervisory experience would be an advantage as you will be assisting with training and motivating a team of volunteers
