Finance Assistant

Salary: £(phone number removed)pa pro rata DOE

Benefits: Free parking, Holidays, Contributary pension

Hours: Part Time 25 hours per week (can be flexible with times eg: work around school hours)

Contract: 12 months -with view of extension

Location: Swindon, SN5

With more than 40 years in electronics design and manufacturing, our client's steady growth has enabled them to establish a worldwide presence.

Due to continued growth and success they are currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to assist the UK business with financial administration/records and in the preparation of management accounts.

Duties Include:

Process all supplier invoices (approx. 30-40 per week)
Control petty cash & bank accounts (6) including reconciliation
Maintain SAP ledgers to TB level
Process employee expenses
Process company credit card transactions
Prepare payroll data and liaise with payroll outsource
Prepare all NL journals
Prepare management accounts
Maintain AR ledger - chase overdue accounts
Maintain AP ledger, arrange supplier month end payments
Reconcile intercompany accounts
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Prepare and submit HMRC data
General administration - filing, telephone calls, mail as required
The Ideal Candidate:

Relevant accountancy qualification or experience
At least 2 years recent work experience in an accounts department
Knowledge of accounts systems
Excellent spreadsheet skills
