About the role
They are now recruiting for a Service Transition Analyst to join their IT Team to provide Service Readiness and Service Acceptance support to the full suite of business software applications. You will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders, including customers, business users, support resources and suppliers to deliver effective solutions that achieve the required business value.
You will ensure effective technical changes are planned, deployed, tested and promoted to live following GSG Change Management Policies and Processes. You will also be required to review all failed or nonapproved changes to identify and implement improvement actions.
Within the role you will also have responsibility for providing system training for new systems during project implementation and provide ongoing training for current systems and maintenance of system training materials.
It is essential that you have an ITIL Foundation Certificate and a BTEC HND/HNC or equivalent ability or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level.
You will have the ability to deliver high quality results in a timely manner and have the ability to plan, organise and successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously with timeliness and accuracy.
You must be able to produce high-quality documentation aimed at technical users providing support and end users requiring training and process documents.
It is essential that you have experience with IT systems (including as a systems administrator or power user) and have a full understanding of systems architecture, topology and the ability to identify single points of failure .
