Java Developer needed for a permanent career opportunity based in Corsham (Wiltshire). Must hold active SC Security Clearance.

A chance to join a leading IT transformation business working on large-scale IT & Digital modernisation projects.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, this employer will be conducting interviews via phone + video-call. There will also be scope for remote working (WFH) until Coronavirus restrictions are relaxed.

Start ideally in Oct/Nov 2020. Key experience + duties will include:

In-depth hands-on Java / J2EE development experience for large-scale messaging, ecommerce and distributed software systems.
Experience of working on Identity & Access Management (IDM/IAM) solutions would be an advantage.
In-depth experience on Web Services, SOAP, RESTful, Spring + Micro-services.
Strong experience of working with Apache Camel preferred.
Testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Powermock, JMock, DBUnit).
Agile development methods (Scrum, TDD, BDD, Kanban).
Continuous Integration (CI/CD) methodologies like Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube + GIT.
AWS (EC2) or Azure Cloud environments experience would be helpful.
Technical Environment: Java, JEE, Web Services, SOAP, REST, Apache Camel, Tomcat, JavaScript, XML + SQL Server Databases.
Advantageous experience: Hibernate, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), VMware / vSphere, Postgres, IDM/IDAM software (NetIQ, SailPoint, ForgeRock, CyberArk etc).
Must hold active SC Security Clearance + be able to provide evidence of SC Cleared status (-eg- sponsor letter, email confirmation, etc.)
