Reception Nursery Nurse

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School based in Weymouth who are recruiting a Nursery Nurse to join them in Reception! This will be a varied role supporting the development of young children.

The Position

Working in this 1 Form entry Primary School; your position will consist of working under the Class Teachers guidance to support the children's learning. The role will require a level of autonomy to lead activities for the children during free play as well as supporting with carpet time with the Teacher. You will be responsible for a small group of Key Children in the class.

Hours will be 8:30-4pm on Monday to Friday and it will be a long-term contract until the end of the academic year if successful. Pay will be between GBP60-GBP65 per day depending on experience.

To Be Successful

Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:

Childhood Related Degree or Cache Level 3 Qualification
At least 6 months experience working with children aged 4-5 in a school or Nursery environment
Some experience of Phonics - ideally Jolly Phonics
Bubbly personality and someone who is happy to go the extra mile
Able to commit long term until the end of the academic year
