The Headteacher and governing body of a Primary School in Blackpool are keen to secure a Teaching Assistant at Graduate Level to join their fantastic school from September 2020. They are looking for inspiring and enthusiastic graduates who want to develop their skills and gain experience within the school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who are looking to gain a better understanding of the teaching profession and for graduates who are considering a career in teaching. There will be professional development opportunities combined with the expectation that you will work alongside pupils across KS1 and KS2. In addition, all staff are well equipped with excellent resources to create a fun and stimulating learning environment for the children! Within school, the children are engaged with a creative curriculum and the school's senior leaders have an open-door policy for staff and pupils to share ideas and ultimately continue to improve standards in academic development as well as social interaction.

There may be the opportunity within this role, to work alongside a Learning Support Assistant who supports a child with specific learning needs. During the first half term the successful applicant will work across various classes across; the school will then identify which year group you will be placed in for the remainder of the school year.
In order to be considered you must be able to provide details of two referees including one from your most recent employer. To conclude, this role is from Monday-Friday from September 2020. The working hours for this role are 8:30-15:15 at £10-£11 per hour.
