Protocol are recruiting for Gaming development Lecturers on behalf of a vibrant and creative University.
The Lecturer in Games development will be responsible for supporting and teaching of modules on both Games Production and Computer Games Programming courses. This role will be responsible for development and planning of modules on both courses, including its content.
Universities will be welcoming cohorts this September and we are looking for applications from Gaming development lecturers who will ideally have experience of teaching in higher education.
Appointees will develop and deliver undergraduate BEng and postgraduate MSc programmes, as well as other programmes.
*PhD in Computing or closely related discipline or are expected to complete their PhD in the near future
*Have taught in Higher Education
*Well-rounded capabilities in research and engagement
Ideal candidates will have expertise and experience with game engine development tools and a demonstrable knowledge of code with programs such as Unity3D, C++, shader programming and linear algebra will also be desirable.
