Do you have any experience working with children who have ADHD, Autism or SEMH? Are you currently available 5 days a week?Do you have any experience working with children who have challenging behaviour?
I am currently looking to recruit a learning support assistant for a primary school in Bushey. You will be supporting a child who has ADHD on a one to one basis from now until the end of this year. In this role you will be required to work closely with the SENCo to ensure targets are being met against the child's individual education plan. Responsibilities:
To develop a knowledge of a range of learning support needs and to develop an understanding of the specific needs of the child to be supported
help children who need extra support to complete tasks
To ensure the child can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by the other children in the class
Help the classroom teacher to plan learning activities and complete records
Requirements:
Have an up to date enhanced DBS
Experience working with children
Able to provide to two employment references
