Care Home Manager - Nursing

Nurse qualified or Nursing Home Management Experience

Elgin, Moray

£45,000 - £50,000/yr + Performance Bonus

My client is looking for a Home Manager for their established Nursing Home in the outskirts of Elgin, Moray. The home is medium in size and caters for Elderly residents, the home was previously rated Weak/Adequate (2/3) with the Care Inspectorate, but is now rated Good (4) in all areas. The previous Manager has progressed to a national role, so my client is looking for a Home Manager to maintain the homes fantastic progress

As this is a Nursing home you will ideally be a Nurse with an active NMC Pin, but a non-Nurse with good experience managing a Nursing Home will also be welcomed, I would also welcome applications from an experienced Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking to step up into their next challenge.

As the Home Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the smooth running of the home and the general well-being of clients and staff. You will be committed to creating a rewarding and nurturing environment for your residents and for your staff and developing a strong culture of inclusion, making residents feel valued and genuinely cared for.

You will also have overall responsibility for all functions including care needs, budgets and financial control, staffing & training, marketing and Health & safety, with support from an established Head Office team.

Skills/Experience required:

* Proven track record of managing Nursing Homes or similar

* Thorough working knowledge of Care Inspectorate (CI) standards

* Strong leadership abilities

The ideal candidate would be an Existing Manager of a Nursing Home, I would also welcome applications from an Experienced Clinical Lead or Deputy looking to step up to their next challenge
