Our client, an established and well-known legal firm in Canterbury, is looking to employ an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary for one weeks' temporary cover starting on the 12th October.
This would be a full-time post, Monday to Friday (9.00am - 5.15pm, one hour for lunch).
This is an incredibly busy department and requires someone who can hit the ground running and support the team.
As the Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will have experience in:
Providing a high level of administrative support in a busy office
Carrying out duties in a professional and timely manner
Developing and maintaining good client relationships
Building strong working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
Answering telephone calls
Audio transcription and copy typing
Dealing with enquiries from clients and other third parties via email, letter or fax
Preparing letters and legal documents
Drafting straight forward Contracts Transfers and other documents under supervision
Filing and general administrative work
Managing Outlook diaries
Adhering to and promoting the firm's equality and diversity policy
The position will include client contactPrevious experience within a legal conveyancing department is required and ideally you will have used the Partner for Windows database.
It is important that you have a strong work ethic coupled with a positive attitude and professional approach.
