A reputable and well established Accountancy practice are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their existing team in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
This role sits within an established team who support a variety of businesses including manufacturing, construction, technology, professional firms, charities and farms.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
Preparing financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Ensuring corporation and personal tax compliance
Preparation of VAT returns
All applicants must have the following skills and experience to be considered:
Part (minimum of AAT Level 3) or Fully AAT qualified and ideally looking to study further
A minimum of 2 years recent experience within a UK Accountancy practice
IT Literate, ideally with experience of Xero, Quickbooks and Sageline 50
Should have experience of dealing directly with clients
