Electronics Design Engineer
My Client who is a leading manufacturer in their field is seeking an experienced Electronics Desifn Engineer to join their team. The main purpose of this role will be to provide technical support to both customers and the sales teams.
Customer support, including training, technical support, troubleshooting, design support and site visits on a European and Worldwide basis - to maximise design wins and revenue
Responsible for Electronic hardware design of prototypes, evaluation boards and reference designs including the PCB design and layout of reference and evaluation boards
Delivering in-depth product training to Field Applications Engineers
Creation of documentation including evaluation and application reports, and system/applications presentations
Working with the development and marketing teams to ensure product attributes and commercial objectives are met
Degree in Electronic Engineering
2 to 3 years' experience in circuit design (preferably automotive field)
Strong analog circuit design and semiconductor experience; ideally in power management, lighting and serial connectivity (USB/PCIe)
Ability to explain technical aspects and concepts to technical and nontechnical people combined with commercial understanding
High level of PC skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) - spreadsheet skills are critical, and candidates must be able to use analytical tools to manipulate data
PCB layout and simulation tools (Altium and Symmetix/PSpice/ LTSpice) A practical, hands on approach with high level of analytical skills
Results orientated team player
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-driven and self-motivated with autonomous work style
