Job Details

Teaching Personnel has been contacted by a school in East Lancashire who are in need of an Outreach Worker to raise aspirations of the children within their school. The school caters for children with SEND including: MLD to PMLD and ASC. The school has a clear and targeted approach to lifelong learning and has high expectations for all of their students.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about helping those with SEND integrate, seamlessly, into the community and get the best experience out of their time in education. A candidate must have excellent communication skills, be engaging and be able to set realistic goals for students.

This role is open to be part-time (at least 3 days a week) or full-time depending on the preference of the right candidate.

Pay starts at £10 per hour, but may be higher depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
