Learning Support Assistant
£65 Per day

Vision for Education are working with a school in Sunderland who require a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time basis to work with a range of students in Key Stage 3. This role is to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year.
To provide in class support to SEND students under the direction of the SENDCO
To work with teachers to support the learning, educational progress and inclusion of pupil(s) with an EHCP
To work closely with allocated pupils, understanding how to motivate and encourage them to achieve and progress
To build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treat them consistently and be concerned for their development as learners, supporting them and responding to their individual needs
Monitor and evaluate pupil responses to learning activities through a range of assessment and monitoring strategies

To be considered for the Secondary Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school environment.
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Ideally have experience delivering Mathematics and English.
