Nursery Deputy Manager

Your Responsibilities

Your will manage a team of staff nursery and undertake all the necessary duties in the absence of the Nursery Manager, working alongside the Nursery Director supporting reflecting core values. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills and effectively lead to teach and coach your team in deliver the best learning experiences for children.

You will Listen to, encourage, enable, stimulate the children offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation through the Reggio Emilia approach to education, and ensure the safe keeping of all children.

You will ensure the Nursery Manager is kept informed of the physical and emotional security of the children, and that anything about a child that gives cause for concern is reported to the Nursery Manager immediately and acted upon accordingly

You will support the nursery business plan and be a positive advocate for the nursery at all times. Encourage new business generation through marketing and promotion of the nursery 'vision'

There will be opportunity to attend relevant training courses and meetings as required. Some of which may take place outside of usual working hours.

What you'll need to succeed
Level 3 qualification in Early Years
Foundation Degree in Early years or NVQ4 in Early Years (desirable)
First Aid Training
Experience working in a nursery or EYFS environment with additional responsibility.
