Good and Outstanding schools in Preston and the surrounding area are looking for Cover Supervisors who are able to support in the absence of a teacher. The role of a Cover Supervisor involves delivering pre-set work to classes of pupils, ensuring school policy is followed. It is an essential role to make sure the education of young people in and around Preston goes uninterrupted in unforeseen circumstances.
This role is ideal for recent graduates, teachers who are retired, or anyone wanting to gain experience in a variety of different schools. Work as a Cover Supervisor also provides the valuable classroom experience essential for teacher training applications. Successful Cover Supervisors are punctual, professional and personable; they are resilient and able to think on their feet; and they are approachable with a sense of humour.
