Senior Electrical Engineer required for a prestigious multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy based in The East of England. With an unrivalled client base, this client seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer, who can demonstrate expertise in the field of Electrical and Building Services in the built environment, to include design and project management.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 7-10 years previous, relevant experience to support the Partners and key Stakeholders on a range of works, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and against budget. Your ability to deliver work to high, technical standards is required across the business, whilst carrying out Fee Earning work, the full involvement in design schemes plus the undertaking of feasibility studies. Full Project Management of sites, conducting inspections and the submission of condition reports all form key functions within this role.
Extensive customer liaison is required for this role, due to the sensitivity of works and the cost of projects. You will have previous experience with the preparation of tender reports, budget management, cost allocation, communication with the supply chain, invoicing and contractor final accounts. Management of teams, time planning and job allocation, supported with the ability to train and develop junior engineers, ensuring that the same high standards apply across the business at all times is/are key to the expanding needs of the wider business.
Additional duties will include the marketing and promotion of services to new and existing clients, the consistent communication chain between all professional bodies, local planning departments and other associated contacts. You will ensure that best practice management policy and systems remain in place for all company designs and specifications, including CIBSE guides, utilising the in-house Manager software system and MS Office Suite. Use of AutoCAD and Revit are also required.
Ideally Educated with Degree/Master's in Engineering and a Member of the Chartered institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The Energy Institute (or equivalent). Chartered Engineer status is highly advantageous to the position.
