The successful Teaching Assistant would have:

Some experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour
Experience of de-escalation training would be advantageous
The school would also consider candidates from youth work backgrounds, or similar roles
This role demands motivation, passion, patience and the ability to emotionally support children who are from vulnerable backgrounds and situations.

The school is located in the Trafford area and has excellent public transport links particularly by train and bus within a few minutes' walk of the school.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application should this be required.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.

A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you
An extensively discounted CPD program
Payment in house, meaning no fees from Umbrella companies
