The position is working in the office full time Mon to Fri. Hours may change once the current situation changes where you will be required to work one Saturday in four.
Whilst the ideal candidate will have collections experience, our client will consider individuals who have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels in a professional and confident manner.
Role summary:
Responsible to undertake all collections activity with customers to ensure that all objectives are met within regulatory and legislative requirements
•Maintaining integrity of case load; ensuring letters, emails and calls are dealt with and resolved to agreed SLAs and to the highest standard
•Effectively collect arrears on accounts using all tools available
•Identify, manage and resolve customer complaints to a high standard
•To carry out all actions in accordance with the firms' policy and Service Level Agreements
•Working closely with the other colleagues to ensure that the business is focused on enhancing the customer and client experience while remaining compliant to its regulatory requirements
•Escalation of challenging accounts to Collections Manager
•Ensure adherence to internal/external compliance and audit requirements
•All other associated duties and responsibilities
Key skills and experience:
•Effective communicator
•Strong negotiator with a drive to setting sustainable payment plans
•Passion for delivering excellent service
•Ability to identify the root cause of the customers circumstances
•Excellent Interpersonal / Communication skills both written and orally
