Dragon School is seeking to appoint a Deputy Development Director to join their Development Team in Oxford (OX2)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Oxford (OX2)
Closing date: Friday 2 October (midday)
Dragon School is one of the country's leading co-educational independent schools, educating boys and girls from 4-13 years. One School on two sites, positioned on the edge of the university city of Oxford, the Dragon is a traditional School sitting proudly amid open playing fields and along the banks of the River Cherwell.
The Dragon has ambitious fundraising plans and you'll be joining at an exciting time as the School embarks on a major capital fundraising appeal for a new Music School & Performing Arts Centre in addition to a new Bursary Endowment Fund.
Our new Deputy Development Director will be part of a vibrant and team-spirted department, reporting to the Director of Development & External Relations and working closely with other members of staff in the Development Office: Community and Events Officer, Development Officer, Communications and Media Manager, OD Representative and Archivist.
Whilst each member of the team has well-defined core responsibilities, the team is expected to work collaboratively to ensure the overall successful achievement of the School's development goals. In practice, this will mean the Deputy Development Director will assist other members of the team in carrying out some of their functions from time to time and as necessary.
