Water Network Technician - Home based
6 month contract with an extension for 18 months following successful first phase.
Location:- Southern Region (London to Brighton)
Salary:- £250 - £300 per day
(Depends on experience within the Water sector and Stakeholder communication)
As a Water Network Technician, you will be able to quickly identify areas for pressure management and able to work with the team to model predicted savings based on control strategies. Working for a Utility focused consultancy you will be part of a 2 year project broken down over two phases.
Phase one is 6 months undertaking a data review regarding the advanced pressure management of the water network. Identifying the peaks times, areas of weakness to the assets and recommendations for future projects. By collating the data and spotting issues with the network it will allow the team to develop various solutions be it physical improvements or digital solutions.
The second phase is then delivering the schemes identified, Supporting the project and programme manager that will be involved with leading the solutions. Your role is to work from home, supporting the clients team, collating data, working with the Engineering teams and understanding the DMA data and what the correct outcomes should be for each scheme.
HNC/HND Ideally in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related subject
Experience of Water Networks, understanding how they work as you will need to hit the ground running.
Driving license as you maybe required to come in to the office for client meetings once the restrictions start to be eased.
