Our FMCG Client based in South Lincolnshire is looking to recruit a Sourcing Manager on a fulltime permanent basis. Working as a part of the commercial team within a well established business.

Job Role:-

* Support the company Lead in leading and developing the product category team in line with our clients Strategic Objectives and Company values

* Support the company Lead to develop, in conjunction with the Key Account Managers, sourcing plans aligned to customer needs and strategy

* To understand specific customer strategy, relevant category plans and their business processes, at a level required to perform function
Interacting with all key stakeholders to ensure the highest level of inbound service level, quality service level and ongoing customer metrics affected by same

* Own specific procurement plans and strategies. Taking responsibility for full availability and joint profitability alongside Key Account Manager in line with customer and budget requirements

* Build strong grower partnership where mutual trust and respect are the key pillars, set joint objectives and management metrics that are regularly reviewed together

* Work as part of the Sales and Sourcing team to maintain the revenue and gross margin in line with annual targets. Seek to offer outside of the box solutions when challenges are faced

* Work with transparency and cooperation alongside Operation & Supply Chain teams to deliver whole chain excellence ensuring customer needs are fully met in the most efficient way possible

* Budget writing, weekly and monthly Turnover and P&L forecast and reporting (for specified customers) Develop, support and maintain a dynamic, proactive working relationship with Key Account Managers

* Review and recommend category performance against Budget and Customer KPI's and expectations

* Lead customer and supplier meetings (UK and abroad) and cascade outputs and requirements in a timely manner to the category and other department team members

* Promote an inclusive environment within the category and wider team which supports through active listening, approachability and proactively helps to provide solutions and or solves problems

* Conduct all business and communication, internally and externally, in line with written company policies and in a way that promotes a positive image of the company at all times

* Alongside and in support of Key Account Manager, ensure product forecasts and sales plans are completed as accurately as possible in a timely manner

* To apply commercial pressure to expedite Due Diligence information from suppliers

To be considered for this role you will have relevant/recent FMCG experience within the stone fruit sector and have worked in a similar role. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business
