Desktop Team Leader
3CICT is part of a shared service strategic partnership between Cambridge City Council, Huntingdonshire District Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council and this is one of two Desktop team leader posts.
We are searching for an enthusiastic Desktop Team Leader looking for their next exciting challenge.
The role is an opportunity to lead a team of 4 Desktop Analysts who are located across two offices at Huntingdon and Cambourne, providing excellent service to the partnership Councils. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of Desktop analysts, the assignment of workloads and aiding other departments within 3C ICT Shared Service as the need requires.
Due to managing customers' expectations at the different Councils, it is important that you can communicate effectively with all levels of staff and have a proactive and 'can do' attitude to ensure progress on the projects.
Please note this role will require travel to South Cambridgeshire District Council to manage staff members.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and our core hours are between 8am and 6pm and travel will be required between the primary sites for work.
This position will require Out of Hours support for one of the authority's critical business systems, this support is based on a 1 in 3 or 4 week rotation that includes an on-call weekend service which carries an additional supplement on top of the salary.
