Strategy Education are working closely with a secondary school based in Essex. This school is looking to recruit a Teacher of English for long term cover starting January 2021
Applicants must hold UK QTS and a PGCE/Equivalent specialising in secondary English. The ideal candidate will be confident at building a strong rapport with pupils and hold the ability to consistently deliver 'Outstanding' English lessons.
The ideal candidate for the Teacher of English role will:
• Have strong subject knowledge, with a passion for English.
• Have good time keeping skills, be organised with great classroom management.
• Be motivated and enthusiastic about the role of teaching
Within this new and exciting role, the successful candidate will be required to take on full responsibility of a timetable classes ranging in ability. You will be required to plan and deliver inventive and inspiring lessons, you will also have full access to the schools outstanding facilities and resources.
The successful candidate will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer.
