Forklift Engineer
Forklift trucks and materials handling equipment
Cumbria
£26,000pa + vehicle + overtime + benefits
The company is a regional dealer of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment and is the exclusive dealer for a major global manufacturer in its area.
As a result of an internal promotion an excellent opportunity has arisen for a forklift engineer to join the team.
As a forklift engineer you will be based from home and attend customer site breakdowns. Your main duties will include:
Attending customer site breakdowns in the Cumbria area.
Performing fault diagnostics on mechanical and electrical materials handling equipment.
Service and repair of mechanical and electrical forklift trucks.
Preventative planned maintenance.
Customer service.
The 'ideal' applicant will have previous experience in the service and repair of forklift trucks. However, candidates with experience on any of the following will also be of interest; construction plant, powered access or agricultural machinery.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established dealer and to forge a long term and stable career.
You will receive manufacturers product training and ongoing in-house training on a regular basis.
A basic salary of around £26,000pa is on offer + vehicle + overtime + benefits
