Due to an internal promotion my client is now looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their Accounts team.
The successful candidate will be joining a business which has continued to grow and exceed expectations even during these uncertain times.
You will be experienced with the Sales Ledger function and have a very high attention to detail. Due to the nature of this business it is extremely important that all invoices and receipts are double checked ensuring perfect accuracy.
This role will suit someone who has not only gained experienced with Accounts Receivable but has also knowledge of data entry.
Setting up new clients Producing invoices Banking and reconciliation Running off turnover statements Chasing up outstanding debts (not always the easiest part of the job) Sorting out any rebates and filing Checking VAT has been included on invoices Providing creditors with VAT receipts
High attention to detail Strong Excel skills Knowledge of an Accountancy Software package. Good communications skills Strong organisational skills An analytical mind
