Deputy Manager needed for Leading Residential Service
Location: Market Harborough

Job Description:
a proactive and conscientious individual is required to help manage a Residential Home within the Market Harborough area.
The home is a great family-run 40 bedded residence which caters for elderly clients and the most recent CQC report is "GOOD" in all areas. The company aims to provide the highest quality, dignified, residential care for all of their elderly residents with a particular focus on person-centred care.
They have a track record of advancing staff from within and helping individuals to gain their NVQs, the current Home Manager for example was promoted from Deputy to the current post after a very successful carer with the company.
This position is contracted for 33 or 44 hours per week plus any overtime and the shifts are 7:00am-7:00pm. This pays £10.00-12.00 per hour (DOE) plus a 10% on-target bonus scheme which is measured monthly and paid quarterly. (Worth up to £2,700 per annum)
The ideal candidate will have previous Head of Care or Deputy Manager experience and good leadership skills with a strong personality. Team Leaders with a Level 3 or 5 who are looking to take a step up will be considered.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
Skills/ Experience:
NVQ Level 3 minimum (The Home is willing to support the successful candidate in completing their Level 4/5 if not already possessed)
Team Leading experience within a Care environment
Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
Dynamic & Enthusiastic
Familiar with all aspects of medication
Duties will include:
Staff management, appraisals and training
Supporting the Home Manager in their duties
Writing care plans plus reviews and meetings
