Prospero Teaching are looking for a Qualified Supply Primary Teacher to provide cover in various Primary schools across the Gloucestershire area. The successful candidate may be asked to cover all ages ranges from EYFS, KS1 and KS2 so experience in supply teaching or a range of year groups would be beneficial.
Acting as a work-finding service, we provide cover to a range of Primary schools in the area including small, village schools, independent schools, and larger primary schools and academies.
Having a background in teaching would be beneficial, however at Prospero Teaching we work with both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers by helping you find your next position. Depending on performance, the school would likely book the successful candidate on multiple occasions, or they might look at offering a long-term contract or a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Cheltenham
Position: Primary Teacher
Type of work: day-to-day and long-term teaching in various schools
Start Date: ASAP
Duration/likely Duration: ongoing
Contract Type: flexible depending on schools needs
Minimum rate of pay: From £100/day
Hours: 08:20am-4pm (full time), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
EXPERIENCE
QTS, PGCE or equivalent (essential)
Previous experience working in a UK School (desirable)
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable not essential)
DBS on the update system or willing to proceed through process (essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
