Excellent opportunity for an experienced business savvy leader to join a leader in label printing for the food manufacturing, retail and pharmacy sectors. The role is for a hands-on candidate with experience in a production environment and who is equally comfortable with managing teams (Production, Graphics, Accounts, Customer Care and IT) and interfacing with key clients. Printing, packaging or food production industry experienced preferred.

Who we are:

We provide the widest selection of labels available in Ireland and deal with small, medium and large multinationals. Our approach is unique in that we provide a partnership approach in advising and helping our customers achieve the best possible packaging labels, to help them sell their products. We provide a complete labeling service from concept, artwork and design right through to finished label.

We also provide Thermal printers and ribbons to give the customer, full autonomy over all their labelling applications and requirements.

The Role:

We are looking for a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization’s operations. The operations manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. You will be experienced in achieving strategic growth in a high-volume manufacturing organisation and be proficient in leading
change, problem solving and continuous improvement. An interest in people development and the ability to develop cross functional teams. A good listener who can absorb
information from several quarters and deliver valued progression.

Responsibilities:

+ Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
+ Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
+ Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee production scheduling
+ Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
+ Formulate strategic and operational objectives
+ Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
+ Manage budgets and forecasts
+ Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
+ Recruit, train and supervise staff
+ Find ways to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.

Skills:

+ At least 5 Years’ experience in a fast-paced production/customer service environment.
+ A third level degree/qualification in engineering/manufacturing
+ Or an executive MBA from a recognised University.
+ Familiarity with business and financial principles
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Leadership ability
+ Outstanding organisational skills
+ Good IT skills needed.
