The successful Purchasing Manager will be reporting into the General Manager - Supply Chain Operations and be responsible for ensuring effective management, control & development of the supply chain, procurement of materials & services. You will co-ordinate cost reduction opportunities and improvements within the supply chain whilst reviewing 'best in class' technology & alternative supply options.
Key responsibilities for the Purchasing Manager job located in Tewksbury, Gloucestershire will be to Identify & manage supplier selection, development, performance & supply chain risk, Implement and manage commercial contract negotiation across the supply base. You will have overall responsibility for all purchasing activities, projects, processes & supervision of all purchasing team members.
The successful Purchasing Manager will be CIPS qualified or equivalent or have thorough understanding of purchasing and procurement within an engineering and manufacturing environment ideally based in electronics and associated matters.
