We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who can support two Reception pupils with Autism. This position will start immediately and continue for the full academic year.

- 90% pupils meeting expected levels compared to national average of 65%
- Previous SEN Teaching Experience required
This school has a smaller than average amount of students on EHC Plans, which means that children in this school who require SEN support get higher than average contact time with SEN Teaching Assistants.
Your role will be to work specifically with two Reception pupils for the duration of this academic year. The pupils have forms of Autism and have struggled with a new life in school.
Along with the school SENDCo, you will work to ensure the pupils settle into their class and that they are able to access the curriculum.
The school are looking for applicants to have a minimum of one-years' experience in a similar role to this SEN Teaching Assistant role. Ideally applicants will have a strong academic record (First-Class degree) and will be immediately available.
