Health and Community Care

Operational Manager- Adult Services

35 hours per week
Permanent
£41,598 - £44,007 (including Distant Islands Allowance)

We are looking to recruit an experienced health/social care professional to become part of the Health and Community Care Services Management Team to provide leadership and direction to a number of Registered Managers and the various staff team(s) within the adult services for which they are responsible to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery.

As an Operational Manager you will be committed to monitor the quality and performance of services and ensure that these are delivered to a high standard and making sure that in doing so these meet all regulatory requirements and deliver ongoing service improvements within Orkney Health & Care.

You will be required to manage change and support Orkney Health and Care in achieving the delivery of service planning and strategic outcomes, working collaboratively with health/social care and third sector partners to achieve this.

There is a pending management restructure within Orkney health & Care and therefore the scope and remit of the post holder may be liable to change.

You must hold a Registered Professional Nursing, Allied Health Professional or Social Work Qualification (CQSW, DipSW, Degree SW or equivalent).

You must where relevant be registered with the relevant professional body i.e. SSSC, NMC, HCPC.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
