Pertemps Crawley are currently working on behalf of a globally recognised organisation recruiting for an Transport Manager to work out of their Redhill offices on a FTC for at least 6 months.
Key duties include;
-Manage, validate, process and forecast the invoices via reporting channels, while ensuring the company is being charged correctly by suppliers
-Identify opportunities for new reconciliations, and for process improvements in the business
-Manage the relationship between the suppliers and ensure invoices are paid on time
-Monitor all invoices from third party service providers & progressing claims for liquidated damages in accordance with contracts / SLA's
-Responsibility for managing their team's activities to ensure all relevant HSE risks are appropriately mitigated.
Minimum 4 years' experience within a commercial transport role
2 year management experience
Min 4 years commercial experience, Management experience of 2 years
Excellent numeracy and attention to detail, with proven problem solving skills
Knowledge of in-house systems would be advantageous
