We are looking to hire a Risk Management Advisor to help develop and complete financial and operational reviews across both the Group's locations and functional activities to identify control weaknesses and to recommend appropriate improvements.
The role will include a wide range of activities with exposure to all levels within the organisation and will include travel (with some overnight stays) to the various locations that the Group operates in both the UK and Ireland.
The activities include conducting reviews based on both a control programmes and their own assessment of risks and controls to identify, report and agree any control weaknesses. In addition, role will include the development of various best practice procedures across a range of business activities and to help develop and enhance the various monitoring tools used by the department to log and report issues to the Greencore Board.
In addition, the role will include both the conducting and assisting of various, investigations ad-hoc tasks and other activities that arise throughout the year.
Complete scheduled reviews to identify any areas of control strength or weakness to support overall delivery of Group Risk Management plan
Make appropriate recommendations to management team to improve the overall control environment
Identify risk management best practice across manufacturing units to help deliver business effectiveness group wide
Input and maintain a database of identified risk issues to help monitor and highlight key areas of progress, risks and trends
Help manage the overall Self-Assessment Questionnaire to ensure the information is accurate and within the specified deadline to meet Group deadlines
Prepare and assist in the delivery of unscheduled review programmes and project activity to address any identified issues and prevent legal non-complianceJob DescriptionYou may not have heard of us, but we're sure you've tried our products. What we're looking for
Qualified or Finalist (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent
Solid financial and operational exposure with experience, possibly gained from an Audit background
Good knowledge of current and planned financial standards
Good at working outside the box to be able to challenge appropriately
