You will be client facing, scoping solutions based on client need and forming diverse teams to solve clients' most complex of problems. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients as you drive the best of our portfolio to market.You will be sales-focused, experienced at developing business, and comfortable operating at scale. As part of a senior team you will be part of the decision-making around leveraging key accounts, growing the Competency and developing our talented team. This is the perfect time to join a growing team and to make your mark across a wide variety of markets, sectors and industries.If you have a keen interest in being part of a growing Consulting team in Ireland as well as positive curiosity and energy, then EY could be exactly the right place for you.Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Manager in Strategic Transformation, you will:Demonstrate strong commercial experience, with evidence of building a sustainable book of business by focusing on high impact opportunities;Continue to develop valued relationships by leveraging your own network of clients and EY's network;Be experienced in managing business development processes, from responding to RFPs to preparing for and presenting at pitches;Create high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on one or more services, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems;Create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs;Demonstrate excellent presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to succinctly and creatively present robust and evidence-based messages for complex projects or elements of highly complex projects, and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals;Be experienced in creating impactful thought leadership for use in business development, engagement delivery, as well as marketing to build EY's profile;Drive improvements in business processes, you will serve as a role model for Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) and make sure that project teams understand and comply with our Q&RM guidelines.Skills and attributes for successAt least 10-12 years within a blue-chip consulting firm or industry (strong track record in consulting is highly desirable);You will be experienced in delivering in complex public and private sector environments e.g. central government, consumer goods, technology, higher education, financial services, pharma/life sciences, energy etc;A proven track record in delivering a suite of strategic planning and business transformation consulting services;Senior stakeholder management (e.g. Board, C-Suite) and communication experience;Proven track record in business development;Strong academic record including a third level degree.As a respected senior professional you will communicate effectively with EY engagement partners and managers and work to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams, and help key staff to build sustainable competencies.Engagement responsibilities include:Working comfortably at senior client levels, building 'trusted advisor' relationships;Delivering engagements to time, cost and quality within appropriate governance frameworks;Solving business and strategic issues through collaboration and teaming;Applying knowledge and experience to shape services to clients and present project outputs via concise, high quality work products;Managing the financial aspects of engagements by organising staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders;Leading and participating in business development initiatives;Building strong internal relationships within Consulting and across other service lines.People responsibilities include:Role-modelling the EY values and being an advocate for people engagement in EY;Developing people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff;Conducting performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff;Contributing to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals;Maintaining an educational program to continually develop personal skills;Understanding and following workplace policies and procedures.What we look forWe are looking for talented and committed candidates at senior manager level who are interested in joining our team.
