Contract Fixed Term to 31/08/2021 Starting Date ASAP

We are working in partnership with an outstanding school who are looking to appoint some energetic and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work as part of a wider team on a fixed term contract, initially until 31/08/2021.

Working hours for Teaching Assistants vary according to work base. Lower School TAs work 9:00 am - 3:40 pm. Upper School TAs work 8:50 am - 3:30 pm. We have vacancies in both Lower and Upper.

The role of an SEN Teaching Assistant may change during the day, dependent upon the support needs of each pupil. The successful candidate will be required to work alongside class teachers and other support staff and to follow any recommendations/guidance from multi agency teams. Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviours, severe physical and/or learning difficulties is essential for this position. A warm and empathetic personality is vital, as is a desire to work professionally with others to ensure we provide the best possible support for our pupils.

A commitment to continuing professional development is necessary; we work closely together and roles may be interchangeable to meet children's needs.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Please submit a CV in the first instance and one of the team will contact with details of how to apply
