Job DescriptionThe main responsibility of the role is to control, understand, identify, drive, and manage efficiencies and cost improvement opportunities across the whole Northern Europe Supply Chain Network. Controlling function for the supply chain cost.Key Accountabilities Budget ManagementCoordinator of annual budget preparation for the supply chainDevelop the budget with input from all stakeholdersPrepare all budget proposal documentation in preparation of presentation to senior management.Continuously identify of any deviation from budget and identification of actions to close off the variance.Budget, analysis & report on operational statistics, ABC metrics.Forecast Review For Quarterly Forecast review. Ensure all financial information issued to wider business is correct and validated by all stakeholders.Identify areas needed for improvement and liaise with the stakeholders to close off any gaps vs. forecasted target.ControllingActive cost controlling of all subcontracted- and CHEP owned Plants & On site Solutions Service locationsActive cost controlling for the operational- and logistic cost.Monthly agreement of the allocation plan and flows plan with central planning, logistics and supply chain leadership team.Regular review with Operations, Central- and Local Planning and Logistics to close off current issues quickly.Monitoring and Control of the Supply Chain projects pipeline to assure the execution on timely cost savings.Preparation and presentation of monthly reviews with Senior Supply Chain Leadership and the central- and local supply chain functions.Validation of OPR and Final Financial numbers for Key Projects.Identify cost savings measures within the Supply Chain.Standardization of processes and cost structures at regional level.Support Supply Chain and Carrier Managers with analysis & data provision as requiredSupport business development activities.Tariff change approval process as requiredSign off of Ad Hoc Purchase order process, weeklyAsset ControllingProject/Programme ManagementDrive Lean and Waste reduction projectsDrive Cost improvement projects assigned to the budgetSupply Chain Leadership training on SAP and SAP related proceduresPlant Office procedures/process and training to ensure compliance on stocks and flowsPlant Operations leader for "On-Site Solution" implementation from a Cost Element and impact on the Plant Network perspective.KPI ManagementPreparation, monitoring and improvement of all key cost drivers incl.
