This new role will support the Department's work relating to the Widening Participation agenda for Higher Education.The post holder will help to support the work of the Widening Participation team by actively engaging with students across the college in order to:
·Promote engagement with events, activities and opportunities
·Recruit Students to a variety of roles (such as Higher Education Student Ambassador roles and Higher Education Student representative roles.
·Encourage and support students to learn more about opportunities within Higher Education
We are looking for someone to cover this role from 5 October 2020 - 28 June 2021 term time only.
What you can offer us:
The successful candidate will have hold a Higher Education Qualification and have previous experience of working in a college or educational setting.
Knowledge of the Widening Participation and Access and Participation Plans would be desirable.
