Overview:The goal of the Markets and Securities Services Risk & Control function is to help establish and maintain a robust control environment and culture across Citi Markets businesses worldwide. Developing a proactive control approach assists management in achieving strategic objectives, promotes efficiency, reduces the risk of loss, and helps ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. In addition, properly functioning internal controls enable management to deal with today's rapidly changing environment and prepare for future growth.The MSS Risk & Control team supports a sales and trading environment and is looking for a highly energised, dynamic professional who is ready to join a fast-paced, world leader in the financial services industry. The successful candidate will oversee key elements of the financial crimes training and communications program for MSS Risk & Control. Responsibilities will include the development and execution of Markets and Securities Services specific training and guidance for first line personnel on financial crimes risks. The candidate will also provide direct support to AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery risk-related projects and global initiatives.The incumbent will work across a broad range of stakeholders including Sales and Trading, Business Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Technology, to ensure appropriate controls are in place and implementation of key policies is consistent with Citi standards. This role is a great opportunity for the correctly motivated individual to get exposure to MSS businesses within Citi and develop relationships with many different business and control functions throughout the firm.Key Responsibilities:• Determine, develop and execute appropriate guidance solutions and targeted training on financial crimes risks for MSS business personnel• Develop and execute communication plan for ongoing communication to MSS personnel on emerging financial crimes risks and program updates• Partner with a broad range of constituents across the organisation to deliver proactive value added solutions with a focus on continuous improvement of first line financial crimes training and communication• Prepare presentations to update senior management and various governance committees on progress made on financial crimes initiatives• Partner with MSS financial crimes risk colleagues, as needed, to support AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery risk-related projects and initiatives• Liaise with AML, Independent Compliance Risk Management, Compliance Assurance and Internal Audit to facilitate consistent coverage across MSS businesses, as well as appropriate resolution of any issues identified.Qualifications• Previous relevant experience with track record in designing, developing and implementing training and communications programs in financial services/banking industry preferred• Understanding of AML, Sanctions and/or Anti-Bribery rules and regulations specific to the institutional markets business a plus.
