Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - The Role
  • Full time - Monday-Friday during term time
  • £350-£450 per week
  • Opportunities to develop to QTS with supportive lead teachers
  • 1:1 support work/small group work
  • Exposure to many different SEN needs such as: Autism, ASD and more
  • Access to SEND Curriculum
  • Promote independence, confidence, and life skills to the children
  • Lead interventions

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - The School
  • Friendly, warm, and welcoming SLT
  • Specialist resources and facilities for SEN
  • Experienced lead teachers/mentors
  • Excellent pastoral care for both students/staff throughout the school and outside agencies
  • Good transport links
  • Rapid progress in SEN children

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Person Specification
  • 1st/2:1 in degree, preferred Psychology, or closely related subject
  • Previous experience in SEN or similar environment is desired
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to run 1:1 support
  • Genuine interest in improving skills of children
  • Support lead teacher
  • Must be able to commute or easily travel to Brent
