Who is Zip?You will be joining Zip at a significant phase of our rapid global growth. As a business we have over 4 million consumers across our established markets of Australia, New Zealand and the United States and we want to grow rapidly in the UK.Whilst we're growing quickly, the opportunity ahead is significant, the competition strong and we know the next wave of growth will need to be more strategic - in particular we must be smarter how we prioritise our investments across different growth opportunities & continually balance the need for short & long term growth. In this role, your goal will be to manage a growing and diverse portfolio of retail partners, by positioning and promoting the usage of Zip as the preferred payment option at checkout.You will be responsible for developing, executing and evaluating strategies to drive ongoing partner performance, success and retention through co-marketing initiatives and tactics to consumers.What will this role look like?Develop partnership strategies and activation plans to deliver mutual growth for us and our merchant partners Deeply immerse yourself in the world of our retail and e-commerce partners, building a rich appreciation of their businesses and a detailed understanding of their objectives, opportunities and challenges..Manage budgets as required, performance metrics, and tracking systems for regular analysis and reporting.Continued experimentation of marketing initiatives/campaigns to test and learn, then provide recommendations to scale where applicable e.g. consumer acquisition through partners, partner performance through conversion tactics.Manage B2B communications channels including newsletters, product and campaign updates.Partner Digital BPI (best practice integration) - increase penetration of Zip BPI across partner e-commerce sites by ensuring partners follow Best Practice Integration guidelines. Includes partner landing pages, optimised for consumer acquisition &/or conversion.Create on-brand, best in class content, tailored to appropriate partners and their consumersSupport on the execution of marketing campaigns, both Zip-led or partner-led, to drive consumer awareness and usage of Zip at checkout. This includes campaigns across multi channels - paid (e.g. social, SEM, radio), owned (e.g. email, push, native app) and earned (PR and events). Manage campaign implementation, ensuring all campaigns are correctly set up (tracking links & attribution), and compliant to ensure end to end monitoring and learning. Plan and execute the annual partner marketing events and sponsorship calendar.What do you need to succeed?5+ years' experience in a broad based marketing role from a consumer brand business; financial services or technology firm, with experience navigating the complexities of partner marketing channelsSolid understanding of the credit, payments, eCommerce, and retail markets, ideally acting at the intersection of these. Exceptional planning and time management skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise, be detail-oriented and deliver results. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.The desire to work in a start-up within a start-up. You are unfazed by the pace of rapidly growing companies, and will thrive in taking the Zip product and story to the UK.
