Job Purpose

Supporting the Finance Business Partner to ensure that insightful management information is delivered in an accurate and timely manner to meet internal deadlines. This role will form part of our Products division finance team with a focus on reporting on the performance of our Middle East operations.

  • Production of timely and accurate Management Accounts within our Products division, with responsibility for management reporting of the division's Middle East entity
  • Produce quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for relevant company's (including cashflow forecasting)
  • Posting of monthly Journals including accruals and prepayments
  • Provide margin analysis and commentary on results, along with providing explanations for any internal queries raised in relation to the accounts
  • Variance analysis where required ensuring that variances to forecast/budget are adequately explained
  • Meet Group reporting requirements
  • Completion of monthly Balance sheet reconciliations (including intercompany accounts and transactions); flagging issues and communicate these to the Finance Business Partner.
  • Continual focus on improving reporting and accounts production process
  • Management of the year-end process and assist in dealing with audit queries
  • Prepare flash sales figures (mid-month and end of month)
  • Completion of local tax compliance documents (where applicable)
  • Other ad hoc duties and projects as required
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK on a regular basis
Who we are looking for
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part or fully qualified preferred (or qualified by strong experience considered)

  • Strong IT skills for communication and documentation (ie. Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Experience of multi-currency ledgers and foreign exchange an advantage
  • Experience of dealing with foreign subsidiaries an advantage
