Prospectus are excited to be working with Orbis UK to help them recruit for a new Fundraising Manager (Public Giving) to focus on building and managing direct marketing campaigns. Orbis is an international eye care charity that prevents and treats avoidable blindness and visual impairment. They do this through thier long-term programmes as well as on the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital, a state-of-the-art ophthalmic teaching hospital on board a customised aircraft.
This role is vacant after the line manager was promoted and is offered on a permanent basis paying between £35,000 and £37,500 per annum to be home based for the foreseeable future.
You will join the Public Giving & Engagement Team and be responsible for managing Orbis UK's single gift appeal programme, encompassing acquisition and ongoing retention of single gift donors. This includes developing new, and refining existing, supporter engagement strategies to deepen relationships with supporters and maximise engagement, response and income.
They are looking for someone with a thorough understanding of direct and digital marketing, donor development and supporter care. You will need a significant experience managing and producing fundraising and marketing campaigns with at least six figure income and five figure expenditure budgets.
