Reinsurance Pricing. This role will lead the London based US Casualty and
International Casualty pricing teams along with providing support to the
underwriting function, risk management and financial management within the
London reinsurance operation. AXA XL Reinsurance is also organized across
products and an important aspect of this role will be the work done within the
US and International Casualty Product Groups across the Reinsurance segment.

This work entails collaborating with actuaries and underwriters across
other regions in terms of looking at strategic decisions around portfolio
composition, agreeing pricing assumptions, model development and other adhoc as
set out by the Reinsurance Leadership team.

AXA XL London reinsurance has a diverse portfolio of business and although
this role will be focused on working closely with the US Casualty and
International Casualty teams there will be opportunities to work in other classes
of business (Specialty and Property).

What will your essential
responsibilities include?

Lead and manage the US Casualty and International
Casualty actuarial pricing teams

Assist underwriters with treaty
review/analysis during the renewals, by either carrying out the pricing
directly or ensuring that the pricing is carried out using approved pricing
models appropriately, depending on the complexity of the business and the
guidelines in force for that region / line of business.

Design and produce management
information to assist underwriters and the management team

Manage actuarial elements of the business/strategic
planning process

Develop and improve actuarial methods,
as part of Reinsurance Segment or regional projects.

Proactive member of the US and
International reinsurance product groups looking to continue to develop US and
International Casualty business within the reinsurance segment

Liaise with other members of the
actuarial team in the region

May act as center of competence for a
particular line of business

Monitor man-made accumulations and
other key exposures

Qualified actuary

Experience of non-life reinsurance
pricing reflective of a competent practitioner

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to collaborate across teams and
regions through regular communication with colleagues in other locations

Good leader with desire to take
accountability and "get stuck in"

Line management skills and experience
