Remote Backend NodeJS Developer - £30,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Backend NodeJS Developer to join a start up on a completely remote basis. This organisation are leading the way in teaching young children how to read and write through the advances of technology.

They're looking for a developer to join their team on a remote basis, but ideally within a 2 hour commute of Cardiff/Swansea as there will be meet ups every couple of months.

They are currently in the process of developing 3 new products and as such you will be involved in developing these. Most of the work is back end/API based, but you will get involved with front end work and cloud/DevOps tooling and will have the freedom to use the right tech for the job. As well as this, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in other initiatives such as ML, Data Science, etc.

To be considered for this post you will need strong back end development skills, in particular building RESTful APIs and all other functions that revolve around these. Ideally you will have TypeScript/NodeJS experience, but other tech stacks are considered if you have a keen interested in this area.
