Service Desk Analyst

Location: Birkenhead

Salary: £24,452.00 per annum

Hours Per week: 37 hours per week

About the Company:

Magenta Living is looking to recruit a permanent Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team. This is a full-time role based on working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with the occasional out of hours (evening and weekend) work and work during holiday periods. The role is based out of our main office in Birkenhead which is easily accessible from most transport links. At the time of writing, in line with Government advice, you'll be working flexibly which will require you from home for a large portion of your working week.

With over 13,000 properties, we are the largest Registered Provider of affordable housing in Wirral. We are a socially responsible, not-for-profit organisation, our work involves more than simply bricks and mortar and our vision is providing homes and building communities. Our staff are all based out of Birkenhead and are responsible for providing a quality service to our current and future customers, adding value and leading by example. Our key objective is to improve our commercial focus and to explore and seek potential new business opportunities within our chosen markets which will contribute towards profitable and sustainable growth.

About the Service Desk Analyst Role:

The role reports directly to Chris Davidson, Interim Head of IT Operations. The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for system administration and technical support of hardware and software across a wide range of devices, such as PC's, laptops, thin clients, smartphones and tablets. The post holder will ensure customers can access high quality services in accordance with published service standards.

Service Desk Analyst Requirements:
  • Positive and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work
  • Able to work with people of all levels, both internally and externally
  • Experience of working on an IT Helpdesk, with a detailed knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows 10, Office 365 applications, Active Directory, Windows Server and Exchange
  • Experience of telephony systems administration
  • Recognised IT qualification (Desirable)
