A great opportunity for an Lead Hardware Engineer - Team Lead has arisen with a global technology business in Luton.
They design and manufacture a range of ruggedised Electronic instrumentation products that are safety critical and used in harsh environments and are looking for an Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a small team of around 8 design engineers.
Key responsibilities Lead Hardware Engineer - Team Lead job:
*Technical and performance management of a team of approx. 8 electronic engineers *Active involvement in the development and sustaining of a wide range of intrinsically safe products *Refine and define processes and procedures to ensure good quality products meet time and cost objectives *Participate in the definition of product roadmaps and maintain an awareness of industry trends to make best use of emerging technologies *Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers and other parts of the organisation
Skills required for the Lead Hardware Engineer - Team Lead job:
*Experience of both analogue and digital electronic development for regulated environments *Experience of high volume product development *Proven experience of managing a development team *Ideally you will have a strong background within instrumentation with good knowledge of sensors and the associated technologies around instrumentation equipment
