SLT from this secondary school have approached Hays as they are seeking a Teacher of Science from October half term on a full time, long term basis. Based in Chorley the school is easily accessible from all areas of the North West and has a good reputation locally.
Your new role
You will begin your new role after October half term and join the school as a Teacher of Science. In this role you will teaching all three aspects of Science across KS3 and KS4 classes delivering lessons to mixed ability groups. You will be required to do the planning and preparation of lessons and subsequently complete the marking and assessment of pupils work. As this is a long term role you will be required to attend CPD and parents evenings.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this role you must have QTS/QTLS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) and have experience teaching in the UK curriculum across KS3 and KS4. You must be confident in your teaching ability and able to quickly adapt to a new working environment and school policies. You will have a passion and enthusiasm for the subject and be committed to the role.
